Healthy Eating

Tips for healthier eating:

  • Fill your plates with only what you think you'll actually eat
  • Eat a fruit or vegetable at every meal
  • Whole grain and whole wheat breads are better than white bread
  • Brown rice is better for you than white rice
  • When you're at a restaurant, ask your server to place the sauce or salad dressing on the side and only use a little
  • If you need help gaining weight, talk with your doctor about healthy ways to do it.
